Tight playability backed up by big amplified sound, the all-solid parlor body of this outstanding Fender Paramount Series electro-acoustic boasts more power than you'd expect. The PS-220E steel-string has a full solid mahogany build, from the soundboard to the neck, which combines with re-designed X-bracing to lay down a sweet and woody, organic acoustic foundation packed with rich resonance and rounded trebles. This uncompromising acoustic guitar comes complete with a deluxe hardshell case.
The Fender PS-220E Electro-Acoustic: Natural & Inspired
The amplified sound of the PS-220E is just as natural as the acoustic sound thanks to the collaborative Fender and Fishman designed electronics. The newly developed Sonitone Plus Soundhole Pickup System combines an undersaddle piezo pickup with a body-sensing pickup mounted beneath the solid soundboard, the output and volume of which can be balanced via the discreet blend and volume control pots fitted just inside the soundhole. To finish, your fret-hand is treated to the familiar feel of a slim-taper C-profile neck and a smooth satin-gloss finish, completing a trusty, Fender-grade performance partner.

Het was een B-Stock model, dus ik vond het wel spannend. Maar de gitaar was in top conditie, geen enkele beschadiging. Er zat wel roest op een aantal snaren, daar heb ik over gebeld. Bax stuurde me gelijk een nieuw setje snaren, aardig van ze. Deze gitaar klinkt heel fijn, en ziet er mooi uit, ben er blij mee.

De bestelling kwam een dag later dan aangekondigd maar goed verpakt, in dubbele doos en koffer in goede orde aan. Zeer tevreden over de gitaar die perfect is afgewerkt. Veel luider is dan ik van deze parlor verwachtte, prima setup met uitstekende intonatie. Voelt als een veel duurdere gitaar.

Beautifully made guitar. This Fender Parlor guitar is not a lightweight travel version of a dreadnought but a fully featured guitar in its own right. Clear, bright and warm when played acoustically and as rich and deep as you like through an amp. The perfect compliment to my old dreadnought that I use in pubs and due to its smaller body much easier to play around the house. I’m happy.
